VILLA PICASSO

On the Belgian coast, tucked into the dunes of Oostduinkerke, Villa Picasso blends contemporary architecture, stylish design, and ultimate comfort. A perfect holiday home for recharging—just a stone’s throw from the sea.

“The villa is not your typical Belgian beach house — it’s contemporary, elegant, and minimalist all at once."

Welcome to Villa Picasso, a strikingly stylish holiday home built in 2016 in Oostduinkerke. Just a 15-minute walk from the sea, it sits quietly among the greenery of the Witte Burg dunes. Behind its clean lines and minimalist grey façade lies a bright, spacious contemporary retreat—designed to host up to ten guests in total comfort.

Clean lines, an unadorned façade, and a vast picture window catching reflections of the garden…Villa Picasso is the result of an ambitious architectural vision: to reinvent the holiday home with a modern soul—without sacrificing warmth. Fully renovated, it’s built around raw, honest materials like concrete, wood, and glass. The entrance is discreet—almost hidden—and opens into a fluid layout that connects effortlessly with the outdoors. Inside, every space is designed to be bathed in natural light throughout the day. A home sure to delight lovers of minimalist contemporary architecture.

A warm interior, where vintage design meets cozy comfort

Though the villa is a showcase of design, comfort hasn’t been overlooked.

From the moment you step inside, it’s clear this house was designed with well-being in mind. The two living rooms—each with its own personality—invite you to unwind: think a large modular cognac leather sofa, plush rugs, low-slung ‘70s-inspired furniture, and carefully curated artwork.

A palette of earthy tones and raw materials sets a soft, soothing mood. In the main living area, a sleek fireplace becomes the heart of the home—perfect for reading, chatting, or simply gazing out at the dunes through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The fully equipped kitchen is made for sharing good times around the table. Upstairs on the mezzanine, a large dining table awaits long dinners with friends. And when it’s time to rest, the bedrooms promise truly restorative sleep—with comfortable mattresses, soft lighting, and complete silence.

Beach, nature,and new adventures

What makes Villa Picasso truly special is its dream location. Peaceful and surrounded by dunes, yet just steps from the town center, local shops, and—most importantly—the sea. Mornings are made for strolling or cycling to Oostduinkerke beach for a sandy walk, a salty dip, or even a shrimp hunt.

Kids roam the dunes while adults soak up the fresh sea air. You can also hop on the coastal tram to explore other gems along the Belgian shore—La Panne, Nieuwpoort, or even Bruges for a cultural day out.

And the evenings? They’re often spent around a delicious meal on the wind-sheltered terrace, or cozied up in the living room, lost in conversation.
